Our mission at Heritage Church is to be a vigorous Christian Community which lovingly extends the ministry of Jesus Christ into the world around us, while honoring all people and nurturing our own relationship with God.

From the Pastor
One of the wonderful moments for me, and I suspect for all of us who experienced it, was our Christmas Youth program.

The sanctuary was filled to overflowing (we had 130 in worship!), the music was wonderful, and the Christmas story came alive, once again, through the eyes of our kids and youth.

We had a visitor that day who took the time to share an email with me about what he experienced.

It’s worth sharing…
“The kids were so wonderfully well rehearsed and so obviously enjoying themselves that it was contagious, and I found myself shedding tears of joy. The band added a lot, and I cannot imagine that performance without the band! It was overall pretty much exactly what I needed at that moment in my life, and I give glory to God for directing me to Heritage for it--and appreciation for the kids, the adults who worked with them, and the band for their contributions to what I needed...and to the pastor who had the common sense to get out of the way! Thank you to all of you for giving me a wonderful Christmas present, one that was sorely needed and desired far more than I had realized.”

God comes unexpectedly… to an unmarried woman, to an engaged man who trusts his God and he wife to be, in a tiny baby born in a manger, in the voices of our kids, and through the time and energy that is shared with them through the musicians, the adults who love and work with them, and their parents who get them to rehearsals, and finally, through all of us who experience that love of God, made real once again.
